September is upon us. For us, in the northern hemisphere, this means summer is coming to an end…BOO!
Lucky for us, we’ve had a jam-packed August, with artists coming from all over the world to paint (so many that we’re still editing all the videos!), we’ve interviewed different artists for the blog and have also worked on a few awesome projects too.
So let’s forget about the impending end of summer and relive last months antics!
For Game of Thrones fans, August was a tough month! Whilst we were happy for the return of the show, we knew after the finale, we would likely have to wait till 2019 for the next season!
What better time to speak to Axe Colours, who has become well known in Barcelona for painting many Game of Throne characters around the city.
But it’s not just GOT characters he paints! Oh no! He has painting many other cult TV characters and public figures such as Walter White from Breaking Bad, Princess Leia, Messi and Amy Winehouse to name a few.
Find out more about Axe Colours and his artwork in our interview.
Mr Doodle x Wembley Park Street Art Project
We partnered with Wembley Park for the Wembley Park Street Art Project, which will see an array of different artists making their mark on areas around Wembley Park (not sure we said Wembley Park enough there!).

The first person to step up to the plate was Mr Doodle, who has covered the legs of the pedestrian walkway (pedway) that connects Wembley Stadium to Olympic Way, or “Wembley Way” as it’s known to millions of football fans. The spectacular installation covers 7 (3.5m high) pillars and 12 cinder blocks, making a total of nearly 43 million sq inches of doodling, all hand drawn by the doodle man himself!
If you are in or around Wembley, make sure to go check it out!

PichiAvo were over in London for their solo show at The Unit London and managed to take some time out to speak to us about their show, their artwork and how PichiAvo came to exist.
Find out more about the duo in our interview with PichiAvo.
Adidas EQT Launch
Adidas took over Victoria House Basement for an amazing launch event for the EQT range. There was music, talks, a creative studio, which of course mean’t we had to get involved! We sourced some amazing artists to head down each day of the event and great artwork, with the EQT as a blank canvas. Check out the amazing pieces below!

Women’s Empowerment Mural in Egypt
In 2013, a report showed that Egypt was the worst country for women’s rights in the Arab world. Whilst women’s rights are improving in Egypt, there is a mindset amongst certain people that needs to be changed.
It is people like Mohamed Radwan who understand the importance of highlighting this issue and how the use of art can help this positive movement.
We learnt more about the project and how the street art mural his team created is helping empower the women of Egypt.
It seems August was the month of collaborations! We had at least 6 pairs of artists working together. With artists coming over from Spain, Australia, Poland, Italy, Malaysia to name a few!
