For This Week’s 35 we have decided to focus on Graffiti Artists’ and Street Artists’ interpretations of B-Boy characters.
B-Boy’s and Breakdancing have always been closely linked with Graffiti and Street Art since the early 1980’s. As Hip-Hop culture developed there were three disciplines that became strong representations of Hip-Hop. These were: Rap, Graffiti and Breakdancing.
Graffiti Writers’ and Street Artists’ have regularly taken reference of B-Boy characters into their artwork to show a link back to the Old School Hip-Hop culture that it descended from.
We have put together 35 of our favourite B-Boys that have been painted by Artists’ on our website.
